This offering will go towards moving to Sundays at Memorial High School, developing Men, Women & The Next Gen and Outreach & Marketing to Reach the One:

Sunday Mornings at Memorial High School
We serve our members best by meeting on Sunday mornings and Memorial High School is by far the best location in the area for us to meet before we find a home of our own. This space has been friendly to churches in the past and will serve us and our church family well. Between its beautiful lobby and auditorium to its spacious Kids area, we believe we can reach families and grow like never before. Because of your generosity we have very little to update for a larger space like Memorial but we do have some updates still needed and margin for the increased rent. We believe this space will attract and keep families like no other location we’ve had. It’s also one of the most financially reasonable locations given our churches needs and our vision to grow!

• New signage, audio, visual and lighting, guest experience supplies

• Margin for rent as we reach more families in the area

• Increased security — we plan to protect our members and guest with on-site police officers during our service

Events, Staffing & Curriculum to Reach the Next Generation
This church is built to reach the next generation, this has always been a point of priority and passion for our leadership. We believe we’re positioned to reach and develop the next gen like never before.

• Increased staffing to allow families to attend service and provide the needed care and ministry for your children

• Host our City-Wide Summer Blast VBS for Cadence Kids

• As we grow we have a vision to host a monthly student outreach event for 6-12th grades in addition to taking our 6-12th graders to Motion Conference Summer Camp in Birmingham, AL or something similar

Events & Curriculum to Develop Men & Women
In our end-of-year survey you asked for more opportunities for men and women to be developed in addition to an increased discipleship classes. We’ve always seen 101 and Small Groups as that vehicle alongside the Serve Team. Discipleship has never been about knowing more but about knowing Jesus — we want to provide more ways to grow in our theology, doctrine and practice of following Him well.

• Quarterly Women’s Events to Reach the One and Develop the Women of Cadence

• Men’s Development Groups — Doctrine, Spiritual Leadership, Parenting and More

• 101 will be further developed in addition to other teaching and development opportunities. Instead of one class we will have:
  
  101 — 90 minute class to Join the Church, added theology and doctrine over a meal (The only class needed for membership)
  201 — Video and Zoom Call to Join a Serve Team
  301 — Foundations Groups: 6-8 Weeks of discipleship content teaching church values, doctrine, and Christian practices
  401 — Quarterly Team Leader Onboarding Lunch to help our leaders better serve and minister in our church. (One time class required for all Team Leaders)

Outreach & Marketing to Reach the One
We’re called to reach the lost ones, the hurting ones and all of those in our community desperately looking for hope found in Jesus. Moving to Memorial, added with our Next Gen focus, we believe we’re perfectly positioned to reach the One like never before.
