WELCOME TO THE TEAM
Getting started:

  1. Download the Services App for Apple or Android.

  2. Set your serving preferences and block out dates for each month.

  3. Respond to scheduling request as soon as possible so that we can be prepared as a team in advance.

  4. If a last minute emergency comes up, email your Team Leader to let them know you won’t make it.

  5. Look over your team’s roles and responsibilities below.

OUR VALUES

  • This is the first and greatest commandment. There isn’t a long list of rules we have to follow, but this is a non-negotiable for every person on our team. We can’t do what we’ve been brought here to do without being in love with Jesus. More importantly, we can’t have the kind of impact on our world that He wants us to have if we aren’t in love with Him. When it comes down to it, the most valuable thing we have to offer as a team member is a vibrant relationship with God.

  • We believe there is gold inside of everyone if you’re willing to dig deep enough to find it. Here, we don’t mind digging. People are always worth the effort. How well we love others is directly related to how well we are loving God. The closer we are with Him, the easier it is to love the people that He loves.

  • God loves progress, not perfection. We never settle for less than God’s best. Everything speaks. Details matter. First impressions only happen once. We hold ourselves to a high standard because of who we serve. Every interaction that people have with Cadence has the opportunity to influence how they relate to God. What we do every day has an eternal impact on people and that drives us towards giving everyone the best possible experience. For us that means sweating the small stuff in pursuit of excellence.

  • It takes intentionality to have a joyful attitude all the time. Sometimes that’s easy and sometimes it’s hard. We consider the work we do to be a “get to” not a “got to.” We choose joy because God has chosen us to be ministers, and we consider it a privilege to serve here.

Cadence Kids

  • This area focuses on accurately checking in each child as they enter Kids. Check-In is also the first moment where parents will interact with the Serve Team. We believe in the power of first impressions, having the right attitude and communication with families is fundamental to building lasting relationships. A smile means so much to nervous parents... and it COST US NOTHING :)

  • Primary Need: CARE

Each dreamer is set apart by God. We understand the trust we are given by parents to take care of these dreamers. We believe that the details are at the core of making sure each dreamer is taken care of. In this area we are co

    • Make sure the child has checked-in with Kids Welcome and the child has a printed name tag on their back.

    • As children enter the room, note the child’s name on the dry erase board, and write any additional notes.

    • If the diaper and/or diaper bag is left with the child, make sure it is labeled with the child’s name.

    • Label all bottles, pacifiers, diapers, toys, and/or cups with the child’s full name if they are not labeled already.

  • There is nothing too big for these Heroes. Their size shouldn’t be underestimated, their personalities are larger than life and minds ready for engagement. Serving in this area requires a joyful energy and appropriately sharing the love of Jesus through our lesson plans. Seeing the growth of these heroes inspires us to never take a moment for granted.

    • Make sure the child has checked-in with Kids Welcome and the child has a printed name tag on their back.

    • A Kids Serve Teamer will greet parents and children as they arrive and give them any pertinent information.

    • A Kids Serve Teamer will ask if the child has any allergies and if the child is potty trained. The Serve Teamer will place sticker appropriately on child if potty trained.

  • They go forth and create a legacy of love, grace, and leadership. Legends are up to bat, in building and molding what our world will look like. During these pivotal years of growth, we are intentional with the words we say and understand the responsibility we have in teaching them the word of God. We are set on building a community of engaged leaders that will leave an everlasting impact. Details matter and in each Legends service we are careful with the details and strive for excellence.

    • Make sure the child has checked-in with Kids Welcome and the child has a printed name tag on their back.

    • A Kids Serve Teamer will greet parents and children as they arrive and give them any pertinent information.
